Darrin Jeffries, Esq.

Mr. Jeffries focuses on portfolio company M&A structure & execution and supporting portfolio companies and their management teams in a variety of capacities. He is also responsible for directing and coordinating Estancia’s operations including financial controls (accounting/tax), legal and regulatory compliance. Darrin also contributes to the development of the firm’s junior investment,  operations and compliance professionals.

He serves on the Board of Managers at R&T Deposit Solutions, StrategyCorps, eCommission, and is a Board Observer at Flagstone Group, Soltis Investment Advisors, Sapience Investments, and Snowden Lane Partners. Mr. Jeffries formerly served on the Board of Managers at North Square Investments, PMA Financial Network and Abel Noser Holdings.

During the nineteen (19) years prior to joining Estancia full time in January 2015, Mr. Jeffries served as an attorney and partner (15 years) in the law firm of Plattner, Schneidman, Schneider & Jeffries, P.C. Darrin’s corporate clients were representative of a broad spectrum of industries, including financial services, law, real estate, insurance and others. In addition to serving closely held businesses and their owners, Darrin also represented high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families in issues of personal, estate, tax and investment planning. Darrin advised his corporate clients and their owners on a wide range of transactional, tax, accounting and compliance matters serving as corporate counsel and trusted advisor. Darrin also served as M&A counsel overseeing several hundred mergers and acquisitions. Darrin regularly counseled clients regarding contracts involving the business and its owners including operating and buy/sell agreements, compensation plans and agreements, private and institutional financing and pension and other qualified (and non-qualified) retirement plans.

Mr. Jeffries earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Juris Doctor (Doctor of Law) degrees from Arizona State University.
