changes to the brand identity of its multi-affiliate investment management parent company. The new brand name of the parent company, Resolute Investment Managers, Inc. (“Resolute”), reflects the firm’s partnership with highly distinguished affiliated and independent investment managers. Resolute wholly owns American Beacon and partners with leading boutique asset management firms through minority and majority ownership positions alongside the firm’s employee owners.

In conjunction with today’s brand announcement, Resolute announced the completion of its majority purchase of Shapiro Capital Management, LLC. The firm becomes the third acquisition under the Resolute banner. Also included are a minority position in ARK Investment Management, LLC (July 2016) and a majority position in Alpha Quant Advisors, LLC (October 2016).
